The House of Representatives voted to impeach Clinton. Now it goes to the Senate. If they pass it, there will be the trial. Everybody wants Bubba to resign, but he stands firm. You know what? He should make them impeach him, and show what this farce is all about: bipartisan scheming by the Republican Party to get rid of him, because all of the other scandals (pot, Whitewater, the rest of his bedpost notches)have bounced off, not even leaving a mark. Is he a great president? Not really. He's done some good things, like erase the deficit, as he promised to, and brought some great acts to the lawbooks, but nothing monumental like he could have.

Trent Lott and company in the GOP set him up with this Lewinsky mess, hitting him below the belt (pun intended), with Linda Tripp (SHE'S A MAN BABY!!!) there to make sure this didn't go unnoticed. Yeah, actually, according to law, they have the right to impeach Bill for exploring the delights of fish and tobacco in the Oval Office, (Crude, but too easy. HAD TO GO FOR IT!)but this is just a ploy to regain the presidency from the Democrats and make the rich even more so, and obliterate the middle class. And let's face it, Clinton is asexual compared to JFK and Thomas Jefferson.

Moreoever, this would set a dangerous precedent. No elected president has been impeached before, and if that happens, the office of president, no matter which party has it, will be severely weakened.

One last bit of food for thought: Clinton's approval rating is now at 73%. George Bush broke out the champagne when his hit 40%, and he wasn't even getting any. I say Roger's smarter brother squirms out of this by the hair on his... well, ya know.
